A Message From Owner Sandi Wake

Another year is just about over, and what a year it has been. The Coronavirus pandemic that has traveled the world has traveled through Michigan, changing almost all aspects of how we live. A year ago, the thought of wearing a mask to the bank or shopping would have seemed ridiculous. Today, the exact opposite is true. A strange shift to be sure, but under the current circumstances entirely appropriate.

We at CarePatrol have seen a shift in the way we do business. Like most companies, we’ve had to adopt common-sense strategies during this time to ensure the health of our clients, our communities, our partners, and our staff. We’ve gone to virtual tours where possible, embraced work-at-home policies, and adjusted our processes to limit exposure to, and potential spread of, the Coronavirus.

We’ve also grown our team this year by adding a dedicated marketing person. Nick Wake came onboard at the beginning of October. His role will be to connect to our existing referral partners, seek out new ones, and find additional resources that could be useful to our clients. 
I wanted to take a moment as well to recognize the extraordinary work of our team. Sarah and Melanie have continued to work extremely hard at finding the right communities for our clients to call home. They truly embody the CarePatrol mission of providing safer senior living. I also wanted to thank our administrative assistant, Ellen, who tirelessly works behind the scenes to provide support to our team.  I am grateful for their hard work, dedication, and flexibility in an ever-changing environment.
Finally, and most importantly, I wanted to thank you all for the trust you’ve given us. Whether you’re a family we’ve worked with, a community we’ve made placements in, or a referral partner who have recommended us as a service, know that we deeply appreciate the work we’ve been able to do together. We look forward to continuing to build and preserve that trust.
